The personal information that we collect helps us provide high-quality products and services. We may use your information to:

2.1 Research. We may store and process anonymous data (personal identifying information removed)  for research purposes. Our ongoing research is intended to contribute to continuous improvements in our products, specifically our self-help tools, and further contribute research communities.

2.2 Email Newsletter. If you download a free product, register for an account, webinar, seminar, or live event, or purchase any product sold by us or promoted by us, you will automatically be subscribed to our free email newsletter. If you do not wish to receive this newsletter, you may opt out at any time. We include an unsubscribe link at the bottom of our newsletter. If you have any trouble opting out, please send an email to us at hello@retirementlifeplan.com. We will manually remove you from our email list(s).

 

1.4 Account Information. Personal Information in your account will be used to communicate with you regarding your use of our website. You may choose to have your account information removed at any time and/or opt out of any communications by emailing us with an account deletion request at hello@retirementlifeplan.com

 

3. Updating Your Information and Preferences

If you no longer wish to receive e-mails or other mail from us, please contact us at hello@retirementlifeplan.com. You may also unsubscribe from our email updates and newsletters by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

As a registered user, you can view and update your account information, including your name and email address. You also have the option of deleting your account at any time by emailing us with an account deletion request at hello@retirementlifeplan.com

 

4. Where Your Data is Stored and Processed

Retirement Life Plan collects Personal Information that may be stored and processed internationally, including the United States or any other country in which Retirement Life Plan operates.

4.1 Thinkific

Our courses and the site for our courses are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allow us to sell our product/services to you.

If you enroll in one of our courses, your data will also be stored through Thinkific’s data storage, databases and the general Thinkific application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

5. Keeping Your Data Secure

Transmitting information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data.

ANY DATA YOU TRANSMIT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

Your Personal Information is kept private and stored securely until a time it is no longer required or has no use. In the event that you close any on-line account, or opt out of communications from Retirement Life Plan, your personal information may be archived but may also still be accessible.

This website may contain sponsored links and adverts. These will typically be served through our advertising partners, to whom may have detailed privacy policies relating directly to the adverts they serve.

This may include the use of cookies which may in turn be saved on your computers hard drive. Retirement Life Plan does not create content or sell products for purchase by children or anyone under 18 years of age. The content on our websites is generally suitable, but not relevant for children. If you are under 18 years of age, you may use Retirement Life Plan’ websites only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

11. Payment and Billing Information

Further, the information you enter when making a purchase or an online donation will be shared with payment processors, financial gateways, and your credit card company to authorize credit card payments. Such information may also be shared with necessary third parties solely for the purpose or carrying out the transactions. Please note that if you give out personal information online through comments, a discussion board or posting site, that information can be collected and used by third parties. Although we strive to protect our users’ privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of information you post in these forums. You disclose such information at your own risk.

If you purchase one of our courses on Thinkific, we use a third party payment processor such as Stripe or Paypal. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our site and related courses and its service providers.
