Certified Retirement Life Coach Mark Usage Guidelines

The Certified Retirement Life Coach (CRLC) mark identifies individuals who have successfully completed the Retirement Life Coach Certification offered by Retirement Life Plan, LLC. Upon earning the certification, approved individuals are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the CRLC designation and mark in accordance with these guidelines. These guidelines ensure the mark’s integrity, protect the intellectual property of Retirement Life Plan, LLC, and uphold the credibility of the certification. 

This CRLC mark is a carefully created piece of locked artwork that should not be altered in any way. Use of the Retirement Life Plan name, logo, or other intellectual property is not permitted beyond displaying your earned certification badge, as-is.

Eligibility: Only individuals who have successfully completed the Retirement Life Coach Certification and received official notification from Retirement Life Plan, LLC, may use the CRLC designation, acronym, and mark in marketing materials.

The CRLC mark may not be used by any organization, third party, or other individual, and the designation and marks must be used in such a way that they indicate certification only for the approved individual, and not for products or the organization as a whole. For example, on a website, the designation and mark may be used only where the approved individual is described, not where the organization as a whole is described. 

Authorized Use: The CRLC designation, acronym, and mark may be used exclusively for professional purposes to promote the approved individual (not their organization or products) on the following materials:

  - Promotional and marketing literature, brochures, pamphlets, or folders.

  - Advertisements of any type or nature.

  - Program websites (personal or professional, where the approved individual is described).

  - Videos or DVDs.

  - Software.

  - Professional profiles on verified platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).

  - Email signatures and business cards.

  - Any other form of print, digital, or photographic media, provided it complies with these guidelines.

Prohibited Use: No individual or entity may use, sell, license, transfer, or authorize any third party to use the CRLC designation, acronym, badge, or mark without prior written authorization from Retirement Life Plan, LLC.

The CRLC mark may not be used in conjunction with any other individuals, organizations, or entities in a way that implies certification beyond the approved individual.

Use of the Retirement Life Plan name, logo, or other intellectual  property beyond displaying the earned CRLC mark, as provided, is strictly prohibited.

Digital Security: Downloads of the badge image or certificate PDF must be restricted to personal use (e.g., for inclusion in a portfolio) and may not be shared or distributed to third parties.

If you suspect unauthorized use or sharing of your CRLC badge, immediately notify Retirement Life Plan at hello@retirementlifeplan.com. 

Mark Integrity and Appearance: This CRLC mark is a carefully created piece of locked artwork that should not be altered in any way. The Certified Retirement Life Coach marks may not be revised, altered or amended in any manner by the approved individual or any third party. Prohibited alterations include, but are not limited to:

  - Cropping, resizing, or modifying the mark’s proportions.

  - Bleeding off a page, screening behind text, or applying watermark effects.

  - Tilting, skewing, or rotating the mark.

  - Isolating, substituting, or highlighting any feature of the mark.

The Retirement Life Plan designated color scheme (as provided in the official mark artwork) is mandatory. No other colors may be used, substituted, or incorporated into the mark.

The mark must be displayed in its full strength and in high resolution, with no transparency, screens, or overlays, to ensure clarity and professionalism.

Compliance and Enforcement:  By using or displaying the CRLC designation, acronym, or mark, you agree to adhere to these guidelines, any updates issued by Retirement Life Plan, LLC, and the Retirement Life Plan, LLC Terms of Use, available at https://retirementlifeplan.com/terms-of-use.

Any unauthorized or unapproved use, alteration, or misuse of the CRLC designation, acronym, or mark may result in immediate termination and loss of the individual’s certification and license to use the mark.

Any approved individual whose certification status is suspended or revoked for any reason, including failure to adhere to these guidelines, must immediately discontinue all use of the Retirement Life Plan, LLC name, acronym, logo, and mark, and may not resume use until their status is fully restored.

Retirement Life Plan, LLC reserves the right to monitor the use of the CRLC mark and take action, including revocation of the license or legal measures, if these guidelines are violated.
